I am a fineart landscape photographer native to Western Montana. I've spent the last eight years mastering a technique that allows me to capture high quality images with bold color, distinct contrast, and sharp detail. I want to convey to the viewer that they're present in the scene I've captured, observing the foreground obect with strong leading lines that carry their gaze throughout the entire depth of field. I adapt to any given situation, which sometimes requires me to stay put in one spot for hours to capture the most dramatic weather or light that day or night presents. I am Nicholas
I had a dream since I started shooting landscape photography: one day, I will be printed in National Geographic Magazine. Well, that happend three times - in my first two years. Being printed in National Geographic was my ultimate goal, and I achieved it very quickly.
Since then, I have been printed in many magazines and news outlets worldwide, most notably, New York Times, Landscape Photography Magazine, National Geographic Magazine and others. I have always wanted my art to remain pure, which is why I've always treated it like a hobby, not to be forced by business obligations and the stress that comes with it.
